Atmoz Air Purifiers is a product brand logo & communication project of Contrarian Ventures LLP, a startup managed by an IIM alumni who is now a seasoned entrepreneur and an educationist, philanthropist. They have enormous faith in the idea and concept of Swachh Bharat and StartupIndia StandupIndia and on that very note they decided to stand out and be different in solutions, approach and execution. As a result Contrarian Ventures LLP was conceived. We loved working on this modern day product brand which is trying to help the audiences and new age consumer fight air pollution. Our job was to create a logo identity which infers a meaning, provides an embossing overview of the brand solidarity. The color schema, the font – we loved every bit of it. The product brand logo always has 2 concepts, it needs to look good, stand out and create an easy recall from the product itself. It must leave a lot of scope for tomorrow – where in the product logo should not restrict the product surface from any further creativity. Since it is a Product brand logo and that too consumer durable category, it is obvious that it must stand out on the outdoor media, the social space, and across brand communication and this has come out really well on brand brochure, the outdoor hoardings and on their webspace as well. For Atmoz, team 30TH FEB worked on brand identity and design, the brand collaterals, content writing for brand communication material and website. The website on Atmoz is a product brand website and is an upbeat e-commerce portal. Since the concept of Air Purifiers is relatively new to Indian consumers, it was required that the website is educative and detailed. We worked on Atmoz on their keyword plan and content marketing as a brand strategy to fill the gaps and answer the doubts in the minds of...

SBS Financial Advisory

SBS Financial Advisory

Brand Strategy needs to be in line with your brand goals. When we met SBS Fin the now popular name on social media, we met the brand as Step by Step Financial Advisory. A business meeting a brand agency is mostly for two reasons, one they need design services as brand and advertising agencies are often interpreted or the business is seeking a growth part and need our services as strategic growth partners. When SBS Fin met 30TH FEB, we begin with the discussion on growth path and way forward. But somewhere our strategist was keen to change the identity – the naming. It was a must brand strategy to position the authority and solidarity which the brand deserved after sustaining for 5 years and after becoming the preferred investment planners for businesses and professionals. The brand strategy we recommended to SBS Fin was simple, Branding > Repositioning > Content Marketing > Go Social. However, since the brand had some limitations, we had began with repositioning which was done using the brand current personality and where do we want to take it. The gaps were identified and the plan was laid out, we were now working on the content plan when the client, as she was happy gave us the approvals to go ahead and change the identity as well. We were on it and that embarked an accomplished brand strategy project at 30th feb as we were all over the brand – we knew what is to be done and how it will impact. We worked on SBS Branding, their website, content plan and strategy for an year. We are happy to be associated with such a progressive...

Spirit Bohemian

Spirit Bohemian

By on Jun 11, 2016 in Portfolio, Start-up Brands

Startup Branding comes with a lot of responsibility. The bohemian journey begin with an idea, an aspiration to inspire people to adopt traveling as a habit instead of a bucket-list task. We had earlier also talked about the spirit bohemian story in one of our blog post. Working on an idea and idea validation is fast becoming essential for startup branding. And in case of startup branding we work on concepts and we develop insights – industry centric, consumer centric, social trends etc. Spirit Bohemian is an aspirational brand and it is related to breaking lifestyles and to inspire audiences to become new age travelers who believe in learning through traveling, who imagine experience more then expense. Startup Branding is easier believed then done. When you work on an idea which is ever evolving, it becomes tedious to explain the brand to the stakeholders, to the team who is working on a startup brand. The account management is equally interesting as client servicing. The logo design of spirit bohemian was a task in itself. We brainstormed a lot and the perceptions differed, the vision was different and as the idea was still taking its shape – sometimes the old became irrelevant by the time – we had new service line and categories. 30TH FEB cracked the logo design with our forte, design with logic – instill a story in your logo. Let it do the talking. The Spirit Bohemian logo speaks ounces – it has the brand vision instilled in the design. It is a design of elements like Bohemian art, Compass and your check-in destination. The travelers are sharing inspirational stories, the content is still shaping up on its website and the brand plans to re-launch its services sometime in first quarter of 2017....

Startup Services at 30TH FEB, the brand phases

Startup Services at 30TH FEB, the brand phases

By on May 3, 2016 in 30TH FEB, Brand Strategy, Challenges for Start-ups, Communication Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Start-up Brands

I have been working on a number of startups lately and I must say that each of them is equally exciting & challenging at times. The reason I decided to share this blogpost was to highlight how we can help startups and also at which all stages of Startup Building, i.e., from itch to idea and then launching it as a business unit. To startup is a thing of freaks but what if we tread carefully, work on and assess the idea to clarify and fine tune it before launching it for the audiences. We offer Startup Services, and that essentially starts with idea validation. And those who are sure and have tested the idea already, work with us on the latter stages of Startup Services. Stage 1: Idea Validation Most of the startups are passion driven and come with an idea and lot of excitement behind it. For some it is a parallel path and for others – ‘it is THE ONLY THING’. And that makes it all the more significant to ‘VALIDATE your START UP IDEA’. When a client comes to us with a certain start-up idea, we help them in ‘EVOLVING THE IDEA’ further and give it a ‘BUSINESS MODEL’ which shall have 2 appeals, first one is resonating with the target audience and second – revenue scheme. Following is the first stage of validating an idea for a Travel Startup, which is also a significant Startup Service to avoid failures: ——— Option 1: Travel Diaries Here the target would be – who is traveling and exploring options. Explore your options. What’s Different Photo Essay’s Cuisines to Explore Food for the soul / Know the people For Shopaholics Maps & Magazines —- Option 2: Travel Inspire Here the target will be – people with wish lists but not traveling. If Indian Millennial is to be captured for first 2 years of launch, concentrating on India will be a better option and economic also. In the option 2, we may not be creating a great pull for International Travelers but we can certainly create a pull for those – who have ‘India’ on the wish list. Why Travel How travel changed life Travel for Good Health Travel...

Two Days and Three M’s of Digital Reboot

Two Days and Three M’s of Digital Reboot

By on Aug 12, 2015 in Challenges for Start-ups, Digital Branding, Entrepreneurship, Start-up Brands

It is really been long that I took time out to share updates on my entrepreneurial journey, experiences or hurdles, struggles or happiness, profits and losses! Unlike everyone else entrepreneurs cannot take it easy, they most of the times work for more hours, procrastinate due to tiredness and sometimes are found juggling between the dream run and reality. It is all so interesting, needs patience and needs dare to. It is been 5+ years of entrepreneurship for me and I kick-started this year with an agenda. Learning something and enhancing my skill-set, personality, friends or network was a part of it. Half the year gone by and I was yet to get a boost to do something exciting. I had been thinking of learning music, a new language etc. But being a business woman that I am, I chose a Digital Marketing Workshop to start with. It will help me brush up my digital skills and in turn will help my business, my work and it was for just 2 days of a weekend. So I enrolled for a digital reboot. And because I was excited about it, I had mailed my doubts & queries on module subjects to our trainer a day before the workshop! How mean, nope; how resourceful! Another good thing about this whole thing, I was looking forward to meet people, make connections, to reach out more entrepreneurs for ideas & inspiration and to make friends. I planned to reach on time and with the excitement and good habits I managed to reach early on day one. It was good as I got to connect with some of the participants and was happy to realize that many of them were entrepreneurs. And each one was exciting for the digital reboot with masterclass. The fact brought in some more positive energy. Continuing, here is brief about the session and my version of Three M’s. Hope you enjoy reading. ———————————————— The Opening Act was simple ‘Om Chanting’ and I quite liked the logic for doing this, it helps us gain ourselves together and let go the several kinds of energies we all carried from the pre-occupied hassled world. And guess what, because of this simple trick –...
