Is Your Brand Strategy Actually Working?
Let’s identify gaps in your positioning, messaging, and marketing—and fix what’s holding growth back.
Most B2B service brands try to sell their expertise before the market even knows it exists. That’s a hard sell, especially in a category most Indian workplaces still treat as a checkbox: DEI and POSH consulting.
This client came to us with a concept, an idea, and a logo, built around the credibility of two experts and a founding partner with over two decades of experience in Organisational Development, Executive Coaching, and Diversity & Inclusion. They also brought with them years of hands-on corporate training, leadership coaching, and legal advisory for organisations.
This was about the time when workplaces in India were getting sensitised about workspace safety, legal framework deployment and compliances around DEI and POSH.
We came in from the start. Not to run ads for an existing business, but to build the brand through a clear brand strategy and consulting approach that would eventually make its marketing more effective.
Every credible B2B service brand is only as strong as the expertise standing behind it, and this one had plenty to work with.
The founders brought decades of combined experience designing and delivering Learning & Development programs across industries, spanning Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Change Management, Assessment & Development Centres, and Diversity & Inclusion. That experience was the brand’s real asset, but it lived only in client relationships and references built over two decades. It wasn’t part of a system the market could discover, trust, and buy into at scale.
Our job was to take that depth of experience and turn it into a visible, credible, searchable market position. A founders-led brand, not just founders or HR service providers with a business card.
Launching a B2B consulting brand in a niche, trust-driven category comes with a different set of problems than fixing an underperforming e-commerce store. There was nothing yet to audit, only a foundation to build.
The challenge wasn’t generating demand. It was educating the market and helping people understand the approach, the people who are most befitting for this category before we could build a place in it.
We began where every credible B2B services brand should start: with the right messaging, the awareness and outreach intent through a website that rides on content for communication and credibility.
For any brand to sell fast, the first thing you need is a foundation. Since the brand identity was created, we decided to build the foundation. A website built around the audience’s needs was essential. Our approach combined messaging with website strategy and development to help HR heads and L&D leaders understand the brand’s expertise.
The thinking was simple. In a trust-driven category like DEI and POSH, credibility and authority has to be earned in public over time. It can’t be bought in a single campaign.
From there, we built the growth engine layer by layer, over five years.
We not only built the website and brand narrative from the ground up, positioning the brand around simplifying DEI and POSH, moving away from legal jargon and compliance-speak toward real, actionable workplace change.
We set up a consistent content marketing engine and Search Intent:
The brandsite was not only about content around the services and evolving them as per the market trends and search volume. We were consistently working on building content assets. This included blogs, thought leadership content, sharper and CRO based landing pages etc. The founder-led video content helped in amplifying the content and reach, building the founders into recognisable, trusted voices in the category.
Further the client team was helpful in providing compliance specific content assets that we recommended and asked for based on customer and search insights.
Once we had established the authority and competitive distinction through content marketing and SEO, the next step was leveraging outreach to scale.
We ran targeted PPC and social campaigns across two core service lines, POSH Advisory and DEI Consulting. The niche aimed squarely at the actual decision-makers: HR Heads, People and policy leaders to be precise.
We structured campaigns into focused and planned acquisition pushes rather than always-on, generic spend, aligning creative and messaging to specific and logical timelines of service and compliance.
The SEO and search visibility strategy was designed to help the brand appear when HR leaders actively searched for POSH advisory and DEI consulting services.
As a content first agency, we were and are careful about turning real client engagements into case-study-led proof of work, credibility assets that could be used across the website, linkedIn, and sales conversations.
One engagement shows what this looked like in practice. For a large retail group handling multiple sensitive POSH cases, the brand went beyond one-time training: monthly sessions across locations in vernacular languages, on-ground consultants instead of centralised webinars, and end-to-end case handling with legal support. It became the clearest proof that POSH consulting isn’t a single workshop but an ongoing, legally sound, locally sensitive relationship.
Simplifying the market message into something founders and HR leaders could actually act on and strengthening the content to facilitate the decision was another strategy that built authority for the website real quick.
Build a stronger brand foundation with clear positioning, relevant content, and a marketing strategy aligned with your business goals.
Over five years, the shift was structural.
The brand moved from an idea with a logo to a credible market presence. Explore more brand growth case studies to see how strategy and execution come together across different businesses.
Business revenue scaled 3X over the five-year period, built on a foundation of authority rather than ad spend alone.
The brand became widely recognised as a pioneer in POSH Advisory and DEI Consulting in the Indian market. A consistent content and thought-leadership engine, anchored by the founders’ own voices, built lasting visibility and reduced how much the brand had to rely on paid media to earn enterprise trust. Enterprise-grade client relationships became reference points for larger, more complex mandates. And SEO and content, compounding over five years, now do work that a media budget alone never could.
Most importantly, the brand didn’t just win projects or a clientele. It won a category position.
Brand is simple when we work in depth for messaging and strategy before execution. Even in a low-awareness category, the brand has to be built through strong messaging and content. Once that is done, demand generation becomes a part of the impact.
Founder-led content builds trust faster than corporate messaging, especially in a category that’s fundamentally about people and judgement. Real depth beats generic breadth, therefore content marketing is the key to brand building at 30TH FEB. Vernacular, on-ground, legally-backed delivery is a differentiator, this is something that the competitors can’t easily copy. SEO and content marketing are long-term assets; five years in, they now earn discovery that ads alone never could. And every well-handled engagement, captured properly, becomes a sales asset.
Assessment, consistency and regular reviews on markets, compliances and search insights help the brand stay competitive and relevant.
Without these, campaigns remain short-term experiments. You might win a project or two, but you won’t build the recall, loyalty, and authority that turn a service into a category leader.
Identify gaps in your brand positioning, content, and digital visibility with a focused brand audit.
Most B2B service brands don’t fail because their expertise isn’t real. They fail because nobody outside their own client list ever gets to see it.
At 30TH FEB, we learned that scaling a consulting business doesn’t start with an ad account; it starts with messaging, perception and visibility backed with credibility and logic. When the expertise, the story, and the content distribution platforms align, campaigns stop being a cost and start becoming a catalyst.
